The Baltimore Album Block series continues
with a grape vine block. The block has several clusters of grapes, leaves and
even some embroidery.

Circles Description and Supply List
- Background Fabric, 1 Fat Quarter
- Green for leaves, 1 Fat Quarter,
Batiks work well.
- Small scraps of a dark brown
fabric for stems and a matching color of embroidery floss.
- Purple for grapes, 1 Fat Quarter,
Batiks work well
- Clover White Marking Pen
- Pencil
- Clover Easer Pen
- Mettler 60/2 and/or YLI #100 silk thread for appliqué
to match foreground fabrics (or in the case of silk nearly match)
- Basting thread in contrasting color and needle for
basting.
- Size 11 or 12 Appliqué needles, I prefer to use
Piecemakers, Size 12.
- Thread Heaven Thread Conditioner
- Appliqué Pins, ½” or ¾”.
- Appliqué Scissors, small, sharp to the point, I prefer
Micro-serrated Ginghers
- Paper cutting scissors, small, sharp to the point.
- Bamboo skewers 4”, available at most grocery stores.
- Freezer Paper, available at most grocery stores.
- Tracing Paper, available at most stores with art
supplies.
- Circle Template, available at office supply stores.
- Your preferred thimble for appliqué.
