Basting for hand quilters -Three layers basted together to be hand quilted, generally at 4" intervals.
Meandering/Stippling - Freehand large to small overall meandering
Custom Quilting
Custom (one border) - One border design, outlining blocks, simple block design
Cross hatching - Entire quilt or individual blocks are crosshatch quilted
Creative Design - Longarm quilter decides quilting patterns, mostly freehand
Interpretive Quilting - Original designs by longarm quilter, heavily quilted. Heirloom quilting.
Trapunto Quilting - Trapunto, heavily quilted, quilt show quality. This is a two step machine process. The fat batt is first basted to the top and the excess trimmed away. The quilt is then remounted with the regular batt and the quilting is competed.
